Oh, hello!

A little bit about me.

Jack of All Trades

Or shall I say...Jill? I've never fit into any one box over the course of my nearly 15-year career.  From social media and graphic design to copywriting and branding, I wear a lot of hats for my clients—and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Lifelong Learner

Inquisitive and inspired by the world around us, I aspire to never stop asking questions and strive for continuous growth, both professionally and personally. I thrive when tackling topics that are new and complex, and get bored easily. This may be why I delight in working for clients across a diverse range of industries.

From Corporate to Creative

Prior to Squiggling, I worked in marketing for international and national companies like Alltech, Bingham McCutchen and Gray. The experience I gained was invaluable, but climbing the corporate ladder was not for me. So I set out to write my own story of success, doing what I love for clients I care about deeply. The rest, as they say, is history!

Florida Roots, Kentucky Raised 

Originally from Florida, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Communications from the University of Florida in Gainesville. But as luck would have it, Lexington is the city that raised me. I'm the only Gator fan in the BBN, but that's okay with me. Kentucky is exquisite, and I'm grateful for the countless ways it's shaped me.

We live in a fast-paced world and at times, it feels like there's barely a moment to breathe. Freelancing affords me the time, space and energy I need to create exceptional quality, purpose-driven work that provides true value to my clients. I delight in the opportunity to learn about new industries, to challenge the status quo and to collaborate with the creative community.

What's a Squiggl?

I'm so glad you asked.

 

By definition, a Squiggl(e) is a short line that curls and loops in an irregular way. Just like the name implies, I do things a little differently. If there’s a better way forward, I'm going to shift, adapt and evolve to reach the best possible solution.

In a world of straight lines, I choose to Squiggl.
