If there's one thing we take seriously here in Kentucky, it's our Bourbon. So needless to say, when Onefold invited me to help McBrayer Legacy Spirits' tell the stories of their first three Bourbon releases, I barreled into action.
With W.H. McBrayer's Bourbon legacy dating back some 175 years, there was a big story just waiting to be told. But with each bottle label being just a few inches tall and wide, I was obviously dealing with very limited space for copy. Is it possible to capture centuries of history, heritage and pride in just a few short sentences—while also also introducing the legacy of W.H. McBrayer to new generation of Bourbon lovers who may not be familiar name?
It may not have been easy, but it was an honor to do it. All it took was some research, an authentic appreciation for whiskey, and a deep understanding of the Kentucky Bourbon industry.
